Costs: Day Hike is Free (all food, activities in Helen, GA are on your own expense)

Special Instructions: 4.1-mile out-and-back trail near Cleveland, Georgia. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 42 min to complete. This climb is challenging but features one of the best views in the area once you reach the top of the mountain. There are several steep sections of rocky terrain to navigate while traveling along this route.

When routing to this location on GPS make sure to input "Mt Yonah" not "Yonah Mountain" to get to the trailhead. Inputting "Yonah Mountain" will take you to a gated private road. Anyone passing unauthorized through that gate will be charged with trespassing and fined.
